The Boat House has internationally trained chefs who will create delicious cuisine to your exact requirements so whether you want to completely absorb yourself in Sri Lankan culture and flavours, try new and exotic international cuisines, or enjoy the familiarity and comfort of dishes from home, the team at The Boat House will cater exactly to your tastes.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner is provided at times to fit in and suit your schedule.
For lunch and dinner your private chef will provide suggestions that change with the season and includes child friendly food for all ages along with a host of vegetarian options. Each dish is prepared using only the freshest ingredients. Being located on the coast, fresh fish, shrimp and crab is in plentiful supply and works perfectly with the fiery spices and sauces for which the region is famous. If you fancy something lighter, delicate and fragrant salads are the perfect choice. Then, of course, there is the fruit. Bananas, mangoes, pineapple, passion fruit and papaya - the list is satisfyingly long. Children's options are also available.
Cost of Meals
All meals are charged at the cost of the ingredients only. The Chefs will then prepare all your meals and you will be asked for a float on arrival and be given receipts for all purchases.
The Boat House kitchen can also provide pack lunches and picnics for day trips, and afternoon teas.
